Catalpa sapling blowing in the wind

Inside, looking out.

Rain on the window.

Grey, cloudfilled sky pours water down like a faucet.

Lightning.

Thunder.

Trees and grass bend with the wind.

The Nature Connection | Three Day Quote Challenge: Day 2

“In nature we never see anything isolated, but everything in connection with something else which is before it, beside it, under it, and over it.”

Johanne Wolfgang von Goethe – Clasical Literary Figure

This photograph has not captured a small tree. Nor has it captured a small tree on a rock. This photograph has captured a small tree growing out of a rock on top of a mountain surrounded by the sky and the light of the sun. Oh, and there are a few clouds too. There is no isolation, only connection.
